21 Again: 21st Birthday Party

Turning 21 is pretty epic. You are officially an adult and can begin adulting…if you want to.

However, If I could, I would tell my 21 year old self to put that adulting business off for a little while longer and enjoy the vigour of youth. It really is a very fun time in your life and therefore you should enjoy every drop of it as best as you can.

Do what you love, love what you do and whenever you can…PARTY!

So that’s what we did. To celebrate my youngest sibling coming of age, we gathered friends and family together this sunny bank holiday weekend and we “partied like it’s 1999!”

There was of course far to much merriment, but this is a prerequisite of any good party, isn’t it?

My sister, Ray, was of course sickeningly gorgeous in this Zara ensemble. She was beaming as every beautiful 21 year old is on their birthday.

She was thoroughly spoilt by her friends. She received beautiful gifts from Links of London, copious amounts of champagne, flowers and more.

The champagne flowed as did the Pimm’s, a classic British Summer time favourite.

As the evening drew on, fire pits and outdoor heaters were commissioned and kept the late spring chill at bay. Fairy lights and candles kept the party alight and created a beautiful atmosphere for the revellers to continue amidst.

When we were full up of bubbles we satisfied our sweet tooth with plenty of birthday cake.

We sang like strangled cats but of course thought we sounded like Angles and Harps

It was such a lovely party. All the better for spending it with loved ones. Oh to be 21 again!

How do you like to celebrate, what are your tips for a summer party? Whatever your fancy, be safe and have fun
