My first time…

The screen in from of me reads…”Write your first blog post” exciting and daunting in equal measure. I literally don’t know where to start. I am itching to get this blogging gig off the ground, but it turns out that it’s difficult to get all the ideas in your head down onto a keyboard when push comes to shove. That said I have read so many wonderful bloggers write about oiling the wheels of the blogging train and reassuring all us new to the fold that it is, in the words of Hazel Grace,” like falling asleep…slowly and then all at once”

So here goes, the dreaded first blog to get the stiff wheels in motion. I want to tell you about the exciting things that have been going on for me in the last few weeks and the even more exciting things that are up ahead.

My little sister is getting married in just over a week and we recently celebrated her Hen/Bachelorette party. I am intending on writing a post all about that as it was such a fab weekend and I’d like to share the what where and how with any aspiring party planners out there. I love planning events and parties, in another life I would have been an events organiser for sure! So watch this space if you’d like to hear about 8 women going wild in Somerset.

The wedding is just around the corner and there are crucial things to organise, like what eye shadow should I wear with a mint green bridesmaid dress and do I or don’t I take a handbag?! All this and more to look forward to. You lucky lot 🙂
