There really is no hiding from it. September heralds that Autumn is on it’s way. Tree’s are turning a delicious amber and honeyed hue, the cashmere blankie is suddenly my new best friend again and everywhere you look from Pinterest to Polyvore the words “transition” are repeated, like an episode of Friends on channel 4.
So what better time to dust off the cobwebs and give the old makeup bag a re-vamp? If there’s one good this about the change of a season, it’s that you can be completely unaffected by the guilt of buying a whole new cosmetic and makeup range. It’s a necessity after all, that BB cream simply doesn’t cut it anymore in the cold, harsh, but somewhat golden, autumnal light of day.
And so, to console myself I have gotten busy about finding new makeup and cosmetic products to put on my luxe wish list. Nothing quite beats it.
So without further ado, here is what I am coveting this month:
It’s all about the base
I can no longer hide behind a tan and so the skin on my face is needing to be plumped up, smoothed out and even. I’ll be needing all the help I can get with the weather getting colder, the wind getting stronger and the central heating going on.
